I, I, I .. Mamma Mia!

Ok, now for my review on this Movie. From the previews you see it as just your average "chick flicks.'' And I find myself really enjoying most chick flicks that come out.

April asked me yesterday if I would like to go see this "great movie" with her and I was pleased to join her and see what was so good about it. I had just seen a movie with way way way to much down time and I needed some that she said "doesn't have that down part that you hate in it." Now I understand that almost all movies need that part of the film at around 3/4 of the way through and respect that part of the "rules" of making a film. But this movie may have had one, may have not. I dont think I would have been able to notice if it did and here is why...

Ok, picture a department store... Now you see the woman's clothing section? We are going to call that, "a chick flick." Ok, now you see that bra section with-in that section? That is this movie! And guys you know that feeling you get, no matter how "mature and "in touch with your sexuality" you are, that feeling when you walk through the bra section? Well get used to it if you are watching this movie, but this time you have women all over the room and they will get more empowered as the movie goes on.

Now guys, picture your "hottest" female actress... got it? Now make her sing and take her shirt off. Nice huh? Now what if you have 20 ladies from early adult-hood to some that were here before your mothers were (needless to say the theater smelled like baby powder and lady speedstick.) Now that moment you had with your actress? They had it about 20 times in the movie, not just taking shirts off but, but, I dont know what it was but they loved it and cheered and would have gone up with one doller bills and put them in slots in the screen if there were any.

I enjoyed this movie though despite all that, but anyone would have enjoyed anything if it made them feel like they had novicane being rubbed on their brain for 108 minutes! They looked like they had sooooo much fun in making this movie and Myrel Steep does great (although I think she was required to stay on the crack pipe during filming to pull off such weird energetics) and the other main actress, her daughter in the movie, does a great job as well! And guys, if you are going to this movie with your wife/girlfriend, now worries, Amanda Seyfried (the daughter getting married) makes it all worth it :D

Go watch it! At least it will be funny even if you dont like it. I know that doesnt make sence but trust me. You will understand if you see it.

Oh and did I mention that it was a Broadway musical? Well I thought I should cause the PREVIEWS DON'T!

Ben's 9 month check

We took little Ben to his 9th month check. He is really tall 30 inches and weighs 20.5 pounds. Poor kid has not been himself lately but the doctor has been so busy that when we finally made it in he had ear infections in both ears. He is on medicine now and will feel better soon. Harper picked out a toy miniature scooter for Ben as a reward for getting a shot. The boys love each other and just laugh together.

4 years together

Rusty and I went out on our first date 4 years ago on August 14th. On our first date we went shooting not with guns but with our cameras. We drove all over and took pictures of wildlife and nature. Well I took pictures of more important things like my shoe and Rusty and my watch you know the good stuff. It is crazy to thing that we have been together for so long but it has been great. I love Rusty very much and I am glad that we are together forever. To celebrate our 4 year anniversary I drug him to MAMA MIA! I really liked it Rusty really likes me. It is pretty intense but I love how everyone just has fun in it. We had a lot of fun and laughed pretty hard.

graveling the driveway

Today Grandpa took Harper in the truck to pick up a truckload of gravel for the driveway. Harper got to watch the tractor scoop up the dirt then dump it in the back of the truck. Both Boys liked to play in the truckload of rocks. Ben liked to eat them so he did not get to play too long there. Harper helped Grandpa shovel the rocks onto the driveway.

Weekend with Mantha

Hey everyone this last weekend we surprised our friend Kimby with an early birthday party. Kimby, Mantha and Ben all came up from Provo to spend the weekend with us. Kimby and Mantha came up Thursday night and we made a weekend game plan. Friday we helped Chelsea move her parents into thier new house then went to Fat Cats. Ben came up later and we had hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. On Saturday we went to the Watie Park again with everyone but Rusty he stayed home and decorated for Kimby's surprise party. Harper made Monny, aunt Shantel, Uncle dd and Uncle Ben jump off the high dive. It was scary for Monny but harper said, "good job monny," and ran off to play. The watie park was fun. When we came home Rusty had a big birthday sign hung up and had set up the cosco Princess cake. It was a fun weekend.

Harper is probably a fish. He loves the water so does Ben. The only thing that holds Ben back is that darn it he still can't walk and he gets soo mad. Anyway His aunts Shantel and Heidi taught him how to plug his nose and go "under" the water. This is a cute video of him playing in his pool yesterday.
