I, I, I .. Mamma Mia!

Ok, now for my review on this Movie. From the previews you see it as just your average "chick flicks.'' And I find myself really enjoying most chick flicks that come out.

April asked me yesterday if I would like to go see this "great movie" with her and I was pleased to join her and see what was so good about it. I had just seen a movie with way way way to much down time and I needed some that she said "doesn't have that down part that you hate in it." Now I understand that almost all movies need that part of the film at around 3/4 of the way through and respect that part of the "rules" of making a film. But this movie may have had one, may have not. I dont think I would have been able to notice if it did and here is why...

Ok, picture a department store... Now you see the woman's clothing section? We are going to call that, "a chick flick." Ok, now you see that bra section with-in that section? That is this movie! And guys you know that feeling you get, no matter how "mature and "in touch with your sexuality" you are, that feeling when you walk through the bra section? Well get used to it if you are watching this movie, but this time you have women all over the room and they will get more empowered as the movie goes on.

Now guys, picture your "hottest" female actress... got it? Now make her sing and take her shirt off. Nice huh? Now what if you have 20 ladies from early adult-hood to some that were here before your mothers were (needless to say the theater smelled like baby powder and lady speedstick.) Now that moment you had with your actress? They had it about 20 times in the movie, not just taking shirts off but, but, I dont know what it was but they loved it and cheered and would have gone up with one doller bills and put them in slots in the screen if there were any.

I enjoyed this movie though despite all that, but anyone would have enjoyed anything if it made them feel like they had novicane being rubbed on their brain for 108 minutes! They looked like they had sooooo much fun in making this movie and Myrel Steep does great (although I think she was required to stay on the crack pipe during filming to pull off such weird energetics) and the other main actress, her daughter in the movie, does a great job as well! And guys, if you are going to this movie with your wife/girlfriend, now worries, Amanda Seyfried (the daughter getting married) makes it all worth it :D

Go watch it! At least it will be funny even if you dont like it. I know that doesnt make sence but trust me. You will understand if you see it.

Oh and did I mention that it was a Broadway musical? Well I thought I should cause the PREVIEWS DON'T!
